Summary / Abstract (Note) | Occupational mobility is an important factor affecting labour market efficiency. It provides better job opportunities, strengthens bargaining power of the labour force and eliminates wage differentials in a given job. However, this important factor is almost absent among the female workers, particularly among the manufacturing female workers. |
