Summary / Abstract (Note)Ceilings on sales prices of dwellings are compared to corresponding demand prices in the market. Demand prices of each characteristic of a dwelling are estimated from a sample of actual transactions where some dwellings sold at a below-ceiling prices. Heckmans method was used to correct for the consoring of the data implied by the ceilings.
