Summary / Abstract (Note)The purpose of this paper is to explore the differential impact of Modern rice varieties (MVs) on factor incomes of rice farmers and to identify the extent to which land reform redistributed the higher returns to land in favor of tenants, which otherwise would have accrued to landlords.
