Summary / Abstract (Note) | Despite the fact that the adoption of modern rice varieties has increased considerably in Nepal since the early 1970s, the yield growth is not as dramatic as in other Asian countries. Inter-village differences in productivity level seem to be associated with the type of modern varieties as well as the production environments in which they are grown. |
