Summary / Abstract (Note)A central issue in economic analysis is resource allocation. In order to judge whether or not resources are allocated efficiently, economists foucs their attention on the examination of market equilibrium. Section I of the paper briefly describes the operation and implications of the bidding process and Section II discusses the construction of computer generated numerical examples of the bidding process for two cases.
