Summary / Abstract (Note)Drop-outs constitute students who for various reasons leave school before completion of the education level they enrolled in. The main reasons for dropping-out may be the illiteracy of parents and their subsequent disinterest in education, harsh treatment by poor quality teachrs, poverty and ill-health and poor teaching facilities, particularly overcrowding.
