Summary/Abstract |
The evidences from a large number of the state supported watershed programmes in dryland regions in India suggest that the impact of such initiatives has remained limited in terms of coverage of land as well as households. This paper tries to examine the functioning of Watershed Development Projects in Gujarat, which is one of the predominantly dryland regions in India.
