The corporation has been called the work-horse of our free-enterprise capitalist economy. A priori reasoning of the economics discipline, making best use of information provided by the accounting discipline, supplies the means whereby the individual firm's finances may be managed in the best interests of its stockholder-owners and creditors, its consumer-customers, and the community.
