Summary/Abstract This paper largely draws on the materials from the author's ongoing research (chapter 8) on "Impacts of flooding and methods of assessment in urban areas of Bangladesh". The research comprises two major components e.g. flood impacts at micro level and flood impacts at macro level. The issue of macro-level impacts and linkages are interrelated.
