Summary/Abstract The paper attempts to examine whether economic growth of Bangladesh is constrained by unfavourable balance of payment condition by setting limit to the growth of demand to which supply can adapt. For the purpose, balance of payment equilibrium growth rates have been computed in three phases of policy regimes of Bangladesh Economy.
