Summary/Abstract The present report is an impact evaluation study on the socio-economic aspects of the Secondary Science Education Sector Project (SSEP) in Bangladesh, implemented between April 30, 1984 to December 31, 1991. SSEP was funded by the Asian Development Bank, Manila, alongwith the resources/fund from the State of Bangladesh.

Summary/Abstract It is very difficult to find out definite rules to identify the social sectors. In this paper we have termed those sectors as social sectors which benefit society in general and poor in particular. The goal of social development is to identify the impediments of poor and remove them so that the poor can participate in the production process with adequate remuneration.
