Bangladesh is committed to achieving Health for All by the year 2000. The purpose of the proposed exercise is to underscore the needs of the country by the year 2000 in the field of water supply, sanitation and hygiene with a view to appraising relative roles of the Govt, private sector, international donors and NGOs in achieving the decade goals of universal access to safe water and excreta disposal.
