This study was conducted to assess the effect of milling and pre-milling operations on rice quality and to determine the relationship between price and rice (paddy and milled rice) quality using hedonic pricing method. The finding confirm that mill type affects milled rice quality and millers attach economic significance to certain grain quality characteristics.
